Latest Round of Dishcloths...

Hello Friends...I've been having fun making more dishcloths lately.  I'm just lovin' this Bernat Handicrafter multi coloured yarn - it's great for kitchen projects.  I find the dishcloths are very absorbent and hold up well after multiple washings.  Here are some shots of my latest round:

Make Your Own Fabric Refresher



Hello friends...Here's a simple and quick recipe to make your own Fabric Refresher:

• 1 part vodka
• 2 parts distilled water
• a few drops of you favourite essential oil

Simply mix in a spray bottle and spritz away.  Great for sofas, pillows, bedspreads, even clothes.  It is so inexpensive to make and it doesn't have all the harsh chemicals that you're going find in the store bought deodorizers.  The vodka kills bacteria, as does the essential oil.  I use about 10 drops of lavender oil, which smells amazing.  You can also add a few drops of tea tree oil, which is also great for killing bacteria.  The mix is also great for cleaning and sanitizing your yoga mat.
